FAQs

If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them!

Do I need to sleep train my child?

Sleep is a biological need. Roughly 36% of our lives is dedicated to sleep. That’s huge! So why do we not focus on the importance of sleep? Not only is it important for our day to day functioning, but it also plays a huge role in our developmental growth as well. Our children restore, replace & renew their neurological pathways during those deep, restorative sleep periods.

Sleep is a skill that we are taught and are able to excel at, with practice. Each child is different, and that’s where I can help figure out what your babies specific needs are and how to teach them one of the most important skills that they will continue to use throughout their lifetime… sleep!

Why should I hire The Rested Baby Co.?

I understand where you are, I’ve been there with my own children! I also understand how hard it is to open up your life and let somebody else have a say in these big decisions for your child. I get that. And that’s why I want to help you.

The Rested Baby Co. is certified through The Family Sleep Institute and has spent countless hours studying everything there is to know about child sleep. Whatever your goals may be, I am equipped with the knowledge to help you achieve them in a caring, supportive, and judgement-free space.

When is the best time to sleep train?

You can start working on creating healthy sleep habits for your child starting right from birth, but I don’t suggest (and won’t work with) babies younger than 16 weeks of age, adjusted.

Personally, I work with children ranging from 16 weeks up to 5 years of age. Click here to see my different package options.

I don’t believe in letting my baby cry it out, is that the only option?

No, of course not! It is my job as a Sleep Consultant, and your job as your child’s advocate, to work together to find the method that will help you achieve your goals.

If you are interested in a more gradual approach with less tears involved (there is no such thing as a no tear method), we can absolutely do that. The biggest thing to remember is that the more gradual the approach, the longer it can take to see results. But with consistency and dedication, you will reach your sleep goals!

I need help for both of my kids, can you do that?

I would love to! However, unless we are working with twin siblings I like to focus on one child at a time.

Because every child has a different temperament, personality, and unique sleep needs, it is beneficial to have an individual package for each child. The great news is that I offer 15% off all service packages booked for additional siblings.

Do you offer packages for past clients?

Yes! It’s normal for sleep needs to change and develop as our babies grow. If you have previously worked with me and need a bit of help with recent changes to your child’s sleep schedule please reach out here and I would be happy to offer you 10% off your selected service package.
